How It Works

Our tool uses BlazeFace, a lightweight face detection model developed by Google, running on TensorFlow.js. When you upload an image, the neural network analyzes it directly in your browser to locate and identify all visible faces.

For each detected face, the model returns bounding box coordinates and facial landmarks. We draw labeled boxes around each face showing its position and confidence score. The entire process runs client-side, meaning your images never leave your device.

Disclaimer

Face detection accuracy depends on several factors including image quality, face size, lighting, occlusion, and face angle. BlazeFace is optimized for front-facing faces and may not detect heavily rotated or partially hidden faces.
